Mandy Mirette is an educator, library teacher, librarian and passionate storyteller who believes in the power of books to spark imagination, patience, and joy in children’s lives. With a background in early childhood education and instructional design, Mandy has spent years nurturing a love for reading and learning in her students.
Her debut children’s book, But, Can You Wait?, was born out of her desire to teach children the value of patience in a playful and relatable way. Drawing inspiration from her faith, her classroom experiences, and her love for children, Mandy writes stories that help families, and educators guide children through life’s everyday lessons.
When she’s not writing or teaching in the library, Mandy enjoys jogging at the park, cooking up new recipes, and spending time with her friends and family. She hopes her books will not only entertain young readers but also provide tools for parents and teachers to encourage character-building conversations at home and in the classroom.
